Route handbook

How every weekend route is written, numbered and priced

Every weekend journey across Ukraine is published the same way: a numbered stop list, fixed arrival and departure times, and one total quoted per person in UAH. Nothing appears at checkout that the itinerary did not already state.

  1. Numbered stops, in travel order

Each route opens with a stop list running from the first morning pickup to the final evening return. Those numbers match the itinerary you receive once a departure is confirmed.

  2. Times stated next to every stop

Arrival, departure and transfer times sit beside the town or landmark they belong to, so you can judge how much of the weekend is walked and how much is spent on the road.

  3. One price per person, in hryvnia

The figure is per person and covers transport, the guide, entrance tickets and the meals named on the itinerary. Hotel upgrades, extra meals and personal spending are listed as extras, never folded into the headline price.

  4. Small groups, local guides

Departures are capped at sixteen travellers and led by a guide who lives in the destination town, which keeps walking loads and meal stops realistic for the season.

Itineraries may change because of weather, traffic or unforeseen circumstances. Any revision is confirmed with you before departure, and the published stop numbers are updated to match.

Before you travel

Route notes and disclaimers

Three things to read once before a weekend departure: what can change on a published route, what insurance to carry, and which advisories to check.

  1. 01

    Itineraries may change

Weather, road traffic and unforeseen circumstances can alter a route. A stop may be swapped, the order of visits rearranged, or a walking segment shortened. Every change is confirmed with you by phone or email before the group departs, and the revised order is restated at the first meeting point.

  2. 02

    Insurance reminder

Travel insurance is not included in the quoted price. Please carry cover for medical care, trip cancellation and personal belongings for the full duration of the weekend, including travel to and from the meeting town.

  3. 03

    Travel advisories

Check current regional travel advisories and curfew hours for the destination town in the days before departure. Guides follow local instructions on the ground; if an advisory makes a stop unsafe, that stop is replaced or removed and the difference is explained to the group.
